Bye Bye Binary
I’m free
I’m free
Exited the binary
I’m free
I’m free
You don’t speak for me
You’re free
You’re free
Removed your advisory
You’re free
You’re free
You stopped binding me
Are you in the rainbow
Taking in our sunshine?
We’re living free
You’re helping me
Get the air I need
Living in the rainbow
Full of fucking sunshine
I’m living me
You’re not limiting
The air I breathe
Surviving all you throw our way
Fuck your lies we are here to stay
Surviving all your throw our way
Tried to kill us but we won’t be tamed
Surviving all you throw our way
You’ll never win, and we are gonna slay
Surviving all you throw our way
Surviving you surviving me, we won’t be erased
Let us be free
Let us be free
Let us be free
Let us be free
Free!

Utopia
The rhetoric amongst right wing and conservative evangelists is that queer and trans people are dangerous. They use lies and bigotry to spread hate which has sparked and incited violence against our people. Perpetrators of hate crimes are locked in cells where the cycles of violence and oppression are masked as rehabilitation. We work tirelessly to keep each other safe and for that we can be proud but we need political reform and equitable access to resources to attain real freedom. Even when we are knocked down, we rise and they cannot destroy our hopes for utopia.
Accountability
Brought possibility
We found commonality
Stopped using cages
Paid us equal wages
Learned to engage us
Took the torch
Burned it all down
Look what we found
Took the torch
Turned it around
Reigned in the sound
Of you, of me
Letting us be
Equally free
Riiiiising
They, he, she
Children run free
Equally seen
No bullies
It feels serene
Magical glee
Pristine equity
Utopia
Utopia
Utopia
Doesn’t really matter if it’s just YOU and ME
We can build a world where we don’t need to bleed
Doesn’t really matter if it’s just YOU and ME
We can build a world where love is guaranteed
Utopia

Your words don’t cut me
I cut myself
Your pity doesn’t move me
I move myself
Your hatred doesn’t phase me
I hate myself
Cause you ingrained
When I was born
Your feelings sustained
moulded me to conform
But now your words
try to reach but
they won’t breach
Don’t need you
Won’t heed you
Won’t fear you
Don’t hear you
We already knew how to be quiet
But the difference is now
Your commands are tamed and silenced
Empty your threats, we will not bow
Don’t compliment me
Just let me be
The bounded knot is loosening
Yet it’s you we will untie
You can’t refute or deny
No longer here to comply
We’re done listening to you
Your words don’t cut me
Your pity doesn’t move me
Your hatred doesn’t phase me
Cause we fought back
We’re re-born
Words don’t sustain
We won’t conform
We won’t conform

I don’t care what you think
But be nice to me

Memories fractured from time
We wish we could hold onto more
But when we cling to what we know
We miss how we could grow
Memories fractured from time
We wish we could hold onto more
But when we cling to what we know
We miss how we could grow

What We Do To One
Where is the justice
For the suffering
Where is the justice
For the indecency
Where is the justice
For the lack of direction
Where is the justice
For the unseen
Where is the justice
For the crying voices
Where is the justice
For the choices
Where is the justice
For the greed and hate
Where is the justice
For this murderous fates
It’s a conscious betrayal
Trading value for life
No one is safe
While they hold the knife
Where is the justice
For the suffering
Where is the justice
For the indecency
Where is the justice
For the lack of direction
Where is the justice
For the unseen
Where is the justice
For the crying voices
Where is the justice
For the choices
Where is the justice
For the greed and hate
Where is the justice
For this murderous fates
It’s a conscious betrayal
Trading value for life
No one is safe
If they hold the knife
Where we gonna go,
gonna go from here?
Where we gonna go,
gonna go from here?
Can’t run away from the fate
Of our sad demise
We can’t keep feasting
From empty plates
While the world burns
And others die
The abuse
The misuse
The waste
For the taste
Of flesh
Where is the justice?
Where is the justice?
Where is the justice?
Just. Us.

Eidolon
Their pockets are lined
With the sweat off our backs
They use us to make
Up for what they lack
You’re not my president
You’re not my priest
You’re not my saviour
You’re not my king
You’re not my leader
You’re not “my man”
You’re not my idol
And I’m not your fan
Down with the monarchy
Down with walls
Down with autocracy
Down with it all
They give us the scraps
We try to rebuild
But this unpaid work
Leaves us so fucking unfulfilled
You’re not my president
You’re not my priest
You’re not my saviour
You’re not my king
You’re not my leader
You’re not “my man”
You’re not my idol
And I’m not your fan
Castles crumble
So we can rebuild
Stone by stone
New structures instilled
You’re not my CEO

Social war
So they want a social war?
Stir us up pick us apart?
Let us destroy the parts of us
That very thing which makes us close
It came when he took stage
Turned inner thought
To platformed rage
Will you fight the war he waged?
Or will you set your swords a blaze?
Social war
Social war
Social war
They want a social war
The lies they sell make fools
We kill our kin
Learn to be cruel
Will we set our world on fire?
Or will we water down the pyre?
The scripture that’s sold
Deathdealer of minds
Our thoughts in line
Find your own path
Free from the blood
Don’t let them have their…
Social war
Social war
Social war
Fuck this social war
